Error 32 Renewing Adapter in Windows 98

Hi, I hope someone can assist.
I run Win 98 SE, I have configured everything to work just fine. Every now and then without any obvious event, I note that my network card is not connecting to the internet. When I run winipcfg.exe and try to renew the ip, I get the error IP Configuration error 32 : renewing adapter
I have tried releasing all, and then renewing, but same problem. I have tried restarting the computer, also no help. Any idea please?

We found that removing the network card and relocating to a new slot and successfully completing the install fixed this trouble issue
