Searching
for companies:
You'll find that most companies
own a URL similar to their company name. Most American companies
have the name followed by .com i.e. Intel can be found at
www.intel.com. British
companies have a .co.uk
or a .ltd.uk
after the name.
You can also use a search
engine to find a company, or to find a specific location
within a large corporate website. Searching on keywords
like microsoft,
internet explorer, download
will hopefully give you a link directly to a location within
the Microsoft site where you can download Internet Explorer.
